Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

A questions mark
What can you help with?
The short answer to this question is that I can help you with a range of emotional and physical health problems.  I specialise in ‘burn-out’ and the resulting anxiety, depression and stress issues which are affecting your life and relationships.  Secondly, since I work with the root cause of the issue, people see benefits in other areas that they didn’t initially seek help for.  For example, someone who comes for help with depression may find improvements in their confidence and productivity at work.  Your mind is like the ‘operating system’ on your computer, my job is to find the code that needs updating or upgrading.  As a result all your ‘applications’ will work better, and consequently you get back to loving your life.
How soon can I get an appointment?

I only see a maximum of 3 clients a day as I want to maximise the energy and attention I give to each person. Therefore, my waiting list is usually about a week to 10 days.  However, for urgent issues I can book in an additional session. I also offer sessions on skype for those people not based in Nairobi.  Contact me.

Can you do a session remotely by skype?
I can do a session by skype, Zoom, FaceTime or WhatsApp if you can’t do a face-to-face session.  You will need a consistent signal/internet connection.  I also do sessions with clients from other countries in this way.
Can you gurantee results?
90% of my clients are referred to me by a previous client, therefore, this says a lot about the results I achieve. No professional (doctor, lawyer, teacher, designer) can gurantee their results and thus it is the same for therapy.  You are paying for my experience, my skill and my judgement. In addition, you are paying for the techniques I have learned and further developed – just as you would for any other professional service.  Visit my testimonials page to see what my clients have said about their sessions. Many of my clients have tried other therapies before coming to see me.
Will I lose control if I am hypnotized?
You will not lost control in hypnosis. We all naturally go into a hypnotic state several times a day e.g. when we are falling asleep or on waking; when we are day dreaming or when we are engrossed in an activity such as painting or running.  You can even have your eyes open and be in hypnosis.  In hypnosis, you are fully aware of everything going on around you but you are not interested in it.  Your focus and attention is inward, much the same as a guided meditation.  You will talk and respond to questions when you are in hypnosis.  You can’t be made or forced to do anything you don’t want to whilst you are in hypnosis.
What if I can't be hypnotized?
I have yet to come across someone who can’t be hypnotized.  Some people go into hypnosis more easily or more quickly than others.  Your depth of trance has no relationship on the quality of the result that is achieved.
